Under an incredible pastel summer sunset, Mount Baker and Mount Shuksan rise above the multiple ridge lines of the North Cascades mountains
The North Cascades are one of the most scenic mountainous regions in the United States. Of course Yellowstone, the Grand Canyon, and Glacier have incredible scenic beauty, but the North Cascades have a sharp, imposing, and unexplored feel. The carved and jagged snow covered peaks, along endless ridge lines are daunting and somewhat impenetrable, even to this day.
